The NTFTA Sire & Dam of the Year Awards are presented at the National Membership Meeting to the owner(s) of the Sire & Dam whose descendants have received the most Champion titles in the preceding  year.

In the event of a tie, the Sire or Dam whose descendants received the most Grand Champion titles in the previous year will prevail. If there is still a tie, the Sire Or Dam having produced the most Grand Champions (total number) will prevail.
